Welcome to Route62 Design Studio. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Introduction
Route62 Design Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides professional graphic design, web design, printing, branding, and related creative services (“Services”) to clients (“you” or “Client”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your engagement with our Services.
2. Services
We provide Services as outlined in a written proposal, quotation, invoice, or agreement supplied to you. The scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and fees will be defined in that document. Any additional work outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional charges.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Acknowledge that delays caused by late feedback, missing materials, or changes may impact delivery timelines and costs
Provide accurate, complete, and timely information, content, and materials required for the project
Review and approve work within reasonable timeframes
Ensure that all supplied or approved information is correct
4. Payment Terms
- Fees: Our fees are outlined in the proposal or invoice. All payments are due as specified.
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required before commencement of work.
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via [insert accepted payment methods].
- Late Payments: Late payments may incur interest charges or suspension of services until payment is made.
5. Intellectual Property
- Upon full payment, you will receive ownership rights to the final deliverables as specified in your agreement.
- We retain the right to use preliminary concepts, designs, and work-in-progress for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed.
- You warrant that any materials provided to us for use in the project do not infringe any third-party rights.
6. Revisions
The number of revisions included will be specified in the quotation or agreement. Additional revisions, changes, or scope alterations may incur additional fees.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential all proprietary information exchanged during the project and not to disclose it to any third party without prior written consent.
8. Printing Services
- Where Route62 Design Studio provides printing services, the following additional terms apply:
- Production Timeline:
Printing turnaround times are estimated at 7–10 working days, calculated from the date the final design artwork has been approved in writing by the Client and payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed. - Artwork Approval:
Once artwork has been approved by the Client, Route62 Design Studio shall not be held responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies contained within the approved design. - Client Responsibility for Information:
The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that all information provided and approved is accurate, including but not limited to:- Spelling and grammar
- Contact details
- Physical and postal addresses
- Telephone numbers
- Email addresses
- Logos, images, and branding elements
- Reprints and Corrections:
Any reprints required due to incorrect information, errors, or omissions approved by the Client will be charged in full at the Client’s expense. - Colour Variations:
Minor colour variations may occur due to printing processes, substrates, materials, or screen-to-print differences. Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed to in writing. - Third-Party Suppliers:
Printing may be outsourced to third-party suppliers. While we make use of reputable suppliers, Route62 Design Studio shall not be liable for delays, defects, or failures caused by third parties beyond our reasonable control. - Delivery:
Delivery timelines are estimates only and may be affected by supplier production schedules, courier delays, or unforeseen circumstances.
9. Limitation of Liability
We strive to provide high-quality services but do not guarantee specific results or outcomes.
Route62 Design Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the Services giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice. Upon termination, the Client agrees to pay for all work completed and expenses incurred up to the termination date. Deposits remain non-refundable.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
